Gifts from Amal

Amaaaaaaaaaaal, you're backkkkkk!!! Hee... She surprised us by showing up at my Grandparents place. Everyone was soooo excited to see her because nobody expected to see her this early. Well, she lied about coming back home in Mid June. Naughty girl!!! Both my Grandparents cried tears of joy seeing her right in front of their eyes. As well as my mum, Adeq and me~ Now, rindu sudah terubat! Heehee!

"Private Assistant" promoted to "Assistant Photographer"? I wish~

My Byy was called by Andy, the owner of Trillium Car Salon, to come over to his place in Gadong, to have a look at three of Brunei Drag cars. I tagged along since I'm my Byy's private assistant. Heehee!

Anyway, these cars are sponsored by Trillium Car Salon so they get free car waxing services before race starts this Sunday, 25th May, 2008, in Miri. There were two 1992 Honda Civic, a yellow one and a red one. But unfortunately, we didn't make it to snap a pic of the red EG since it left earlier. The other drag car is a Subaru Impreza STI. I was told that it takes only 10 seconds to reach a quarter mile. Yikesss! And the sound of these cars sent shivers up to my spine. Daddy, I want a SUBARU!!!

These are the pics of both the drag cars I took using the Canon 450D with my Byy's Canon 50mm f2.8 lens. I'm still learning photography especially car photography. So mind my mistakes...

450D~ Finally, you're here!

The Canon 450D came in Monday afternoon. Adeq went with Babah to pick up the SLR. Adeq was so excited about it as well myself. Because now, I'll get to practise my photography skills anytime I want. It was equipped with standard kit, a Canon 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 lens. It was ok just not as fantastic as my Byy's Tamron 17-55mm F2.8 lens. Two thumbs up for that lens! Here are some pics that I took myself except for the picture of me and my Byy. It was snapped by Epic.
